A comprehensive project has been initiated for the purpose of developing a Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) along with Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plans to encompas all operational departments and divisions within Calhoun County.

For this project, the county has selected the BOLDplanning.com emergency planning platform. This platform guides planners through each HMP and COOP component and helps develop a plan that outlines the roles and responsibilities required to ensure the counties ability to transition and continue its operations during times of disruption.

The BOLDplanning.com platform inacted for Calhoun County includes the HMP and COOP modules, and has been customized to meet FEMA, the Michigan State Police, and Calhoun County requirements. This platform is deployed via the internet at www.CalhounPrepared.com.
